Cruise Planners Franchise Owner and Travel Advisor Kathryn Eytle McLean

Kathryn Eytle McLean leverages decades of experience in the travel and hospitality industries in her role as a Cruise Planners travel advisor and franchise owner. Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, she helps clients plan dream vacations at destinations around the globe. She connects vacationers to a variety of travel opportunities, from Caribbean cruises to guided tours to stays at luxury resorts. She also designs all-inclusive vacation packages for those looking to enjoy hassle-free trips.

In addition, Kathryn Eytle McLean is a shareholder, member of the board of directors, and the CEO of Frandec Travel Services, Inc., in Georgetown, Guyana. She holds certification through Guyana’s Human Resources Practitioners Association and has completed the American Express Online Travel University. Ms. McLean is also the chairperson of the board of directors of H&F Inc. and a member of the board of directors of GBTI, one of Guyana’s largest banks.  

Earlier in her career, Ms. McLean led the Mississauga, Ontario, Canada location of Holiday Inn as a manager on duty, front desk supervisor, and HR manager. She spent three years with the hotel, during which time she focused on employee and guest safety and wellbeing by obtaining two certifications from the Ontario Safety Service Alliance. Ms. McLean also completed the Building a Service Attitude course through the Bass Hotels & Resorts Hospitality Training Network, which assisted her in her guest services role.

Kathryn Eytle McLean began her career at Pegasus Hotel in Georgetown, where she served as an assistant to the general manager and oversaw the front desk. During her eight years with the hotel, she participated in multiple externships at hotels across the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. She spent this time training in nearly every hotel department, from administration to catering.

Ms. McLean holds an Executive MBA from the Cave School of Business at the University of the West Indies in Barbados.
