St. Joseph High wins Impromptu Speech Competition 2011

St. Joseph High emerged victorious against Stewartville Secondary on November 16 in the final round of the GBTI Impromptu Speech Competition. The judges felt that the school showed great potential in their delivery, grammar and eloquence in comparison to their opponents. They stated that the team was also clearly one of the strongest throughout the competition since its commencement on October 18, 2011.


Early Savers receive Bursary Awards

GBTI once again held its annual Bursary Award Programme giving some its Early Savers account holders who successfully gained 450 marks and above in the National Grade Six Assessment this year the chance to win monetary gift vouchers.


GBTI Tennis Tournament 2011

The Bank’s Open Tennis Tournament officially came to a close on July 2, 2011 with a Presentation Ceremony at the Recreational Centre. Following an Exhibition match portrayed by winners of some of the categories, Chief Executive Officer Mr. John Tracey addressed the gathering of winners and other supporters and expressed his delight with the way in which the tournament was run.
